The Wutai Mountain Buddhist Association issued an obituary, and Changqing presided over the death in manjusri temple, Wutai Mountain on October 7th, 2023, at the age of 90.

Changqing was born in 1932. He became a monk at the age of 7, joined the army at the age of 24, got married at the age of 26, re-entered Buddhism at the age of 50, and was accompanied by incense lamps for the rest of his life.
