Mr. Sun Dexiang, born in February 1965, is a native of Zhengding County, Hebei Province, a member of Hebei Artists Association, and graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Now he is the artistic tutor of Shijiazhuang Jihua Academy of Fine Arts and the vice president of Zhao Yan Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Mr. Sun Dexiang loved the art of calligraphy and painting since childhood and insisted on self-study for many years. He made an in-depth study of the artistic achievements and styles of painters of past dynasties. While studying in the Central Academy of Fine Arts, he heard and witnessed the teachings of Mr. Li Keran, a master of Chinese painting. Mr. Li's persistent spirit for art deeply touched and inspired him, especially for Mr. Li Keran's bold innovation and courage to climb the peak, as well as his own heavy and magnificent painting style. Under the guidance of Mr. Li Keran, he studied under Huang Runhua, Li Xingjian and Jia Youfu, and devoted himself to the study of the formation and inheritance of the Li School. After graduation, he spent three years sketching in Guilin, Huangshan, Mount Tai, Qingcheng Mountain and Taihang Mountain, collected all the sketches of Qifeng, took nature as a teacher, tried to explore his own artistic language, and initially formed his own painting style.
