Who owns the Peace Hotel?
Peace Hotel is a landmark building in Shanghai, located at No.20 Nanjing East Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai. It is the first modernist building in Shanghai's modern architectural history, and its architectural style is Gothic architecture of Chicago School.
The Peace Hotel, about 77 meters high, has the most distinctive nine-country style suites and many unique restaurants, banquet halls, multi-function halls, bars, rooftop sightseeing gardens and other facilities.
The two buildings at the east entrance of Nanjing Road in Shanghai are both called Peace Hotel. The North Building was built in 1929, formerly known as Hua Mao Hotel, with a total floor of 12. The South Building was originally the Zhonghui Hotel, which was built in 1908 and belongs to the Renaissance architectural style.
