He used to be deputy director and director of Geological Research Institute of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, deputy chief engineer of Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, director, assistant director and deputy director of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Liaison Department, manager of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Geological Resources Exploration and Development Co., Ltd., director of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Coal Industry Bureau, deputy secretary and mayor of Wuzhou Municipal Committee, deputy secretary and mayor of Guigang Municipal Committee, and director of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Land and Resources Department.
