Calligraphy works

Style of works

Song Ying loved calligraphy since she was a child. She began to learn from Tang Kai and laid a solid foundation. After that, he mainly focused on Shu Wei and Li Shu, while cursive script devoted himself to Cao Zhang and Cao Xing, mixed with Cao Zhang's posture, and gradually formed his own elegant style of vigorous brushwork and unrestrained momentum. His calligraphy travels in the forest of art, learning from others, thus forming an artistic style of vigorous and elegant brushwork and unrestrained momentum, which is the outstanding feature of Song Ying's calligraphy art. Song Ying's calligraphy is a collection of Li Shu, Weibei, Tang Kai and Cao Jin, especially Cao Zhang. His works are even and unique, and his thoughts are expressed through words. The layout and brushwork of his works are smooth and natural, with stretched bones and muscles, vivid lines and staggered fonts, which restrict each other. Their indulgence is balanced, coherent, smooth and accurate, without exaggerated habits and outdated feelings.

Famous comments

Liu Haisu, a master of art, commented on Song Ying's calligraphy: "Carving grass with monuments, you can get the gods of monuments" and "the layout of calligraphy can be unique, break the routine and stand out from the crowd".

Mr Ouyang Zhongshi commented on Song Ying's calligraphy: "I can't help loving Song Ying's calligraphy. There is neither the domineering spirit of Jin Ge, nor the weakness of desk documents, and all kinds of rules and regulations are ingenious and decent. The words are exquisite and the picture frame is attractive. If you pass by in a hurry, you will get a rare treasure. If you think about it carefully, it seems that the initial work rate is higher, the grain benefit is longer, the Han bamboo slips are interesting, the brushwork is more secure, and finally you convert to worship. Can be said to be one of the contemporary.
