2. Zhang Aiping was born in Daxian County, Sichuan Province on 19 10. Senior general of China People's Liberation Army. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Zhang Aiping served as the chief of staff of the East China Military Region, Vice Premier the State Council and other important positions, and also served as a member of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) and the CPC Central Committee. On July 5th, 2003, Zhang Aiping died in Beijing.
