Li Bing, a native of Qin during the Warring States Period, was a famous water conservancy expert in ancient China. His main achievement is Dujiangyan, which has been used to this day, showing his superb technical level. During his tenure as the magistrate of Shu county, due to the continuous rainstorm and flood, the levee burst and flooded, which flooded a large area and destroyed a large number of crops. Therefore, Li Bing put forward the idea of building a weir. Li Bing also actively advocated family members to jointly control water, combined with the strength of the masses and contacted villagers to jointly control water, and built many river dam projects, of which Dujiangyan project was the most influential. Since the weir was built for thousands of years, it has greatly helped Chengdu Plain to become a "land of abundance". In memory of Li Bing and his son, people built their temples and stone statues in Dujiangyan.
