The National Top Ten Portrait Photography Award is sponsored by Portrait Photography magazine and held every three years. 1993. 2002 was the fourth National Top Ten Portrait Photography Award, and this award ceremony was held in Beijing. 3000 pictures from 145 authors from 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions participated in the competition. The top ten portrait photographers in China are selected by well-known photographers, theorists or critics with high appreciation level and outstanding creative achievements, and the selection is conducted according to strict evaluation procedures.
