He is loyal to the cause of the party and the people and full of infinite love for the motherland and the people. After graduating from Qinghai University for Nationalities, he gave up the opportunity to stay in the city and resolutely returned to his hometown where he was born and raised, determined to dedicate everything to Zhiduo grassland. During his teaching in the county, he worked hard to cultivate the next generation and was called a good gardener and teacher by students and parents. When he was the deputy director of the Education Bureau, he devoted himself to the development of Tibetan education day and night and made remarkable achievements. When he was the party secretary in Suo hometown, he traveled all over the mountains and rivers in Suo hometown and made great efforts to change the poverty in Suo hometown.

Sonam Dajie is a native of Suojia, Zhiduo County, Yushu, Qinghai. 1974 graduated from Qinghai University for Nationalities, and later served as Party Secretary of Suojia Town and Deputy Secretary of Zhiduo County Committee. 199 1 the people's government of Zhiduo county submitted his proposal of "Report on the Management and Development of Hoh Xil" to the people's government of Yushu Prefecture, requesting the establishment of a protection agency for Hoh Xil. 1In July, 1992, Sonam Dajie organized the first armed anti-poaching team in China: the Western Working Committee of Zhiduo County (also known as the Wild Yak Team), and served as the secretary of the Western Working Committee. Because of the rich mineral and wildlife resources in Hoh Xil, many poachers are salivating, and they collude with gangs for personal gain. The purpose of establishing the Western Working Committee is to protect the natural resources in this area. During his tenure, Sonam Dajie entered the no-man's land in Hoh Xil for 12 times, personally carried out field ecological investigation and environmental ecological protection with emphasis on Tibetan antelopes, and arrested eight illegal gun poaching gangs, effectively combating the arrogance of poachers.

For the lawlessness of poachers, Sister Sonam once lamented: "This is not a no-man's land, but a no-man's land." After his personal inspection in Hoh Xil, he established a wildlife sanctuary and an alpine grassland sanctuary. In addition, he also contributed to the protection of minerals (including gold mines and salt mines) in Hoh Xil area.

When he served as the deputy secretary of the county party Committee and secretary of the working Committee of Zhiduo County, he devoted himself to the development and utilization of resources and made contributions to the revitalization of the national economy. He also led the working group 12 to enter the no-man's land with an average elevation of more than 5,000 meters in Hoh Xil, to investigate wildlife resources and engage in wildlife protection with the fate of Tibetan antelopes as the theme, becoming the first person to protect wildlife in Hoh Xil. Organized the establishment of the "Hoh Xil Wildlife Protection" Office and the "Hoh Xil Alpine Grassland Protection" Office, and applied to the relevant departments for the establishment of the "Western Forestry Public Security Bureau" and "Hoh Xil National Nature Reserve".
