1March 1939 14 was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu. 1962 graduated from the biology department of East China Normal University, and in the same year went to the School of Pharmacy of the Second Military Medical University to teach and study medicinal plants and pharmacognosy. As a well-known pharmacologist in China, 1993 was approved as a doctoral supervisor of pharmacognosy, and enjoyed the special government allowance issued by the State Council for life. In 2003, he was promoted to the third level of professional technology. Since teaching for 50 years, 27 masters, doctors and postdoctoral students have been trained and instructed. Published more than 200 papers.
