School of Civil Engineering was established in 1958. There are three undergraduate majors: civil engineering, urban underground space engineering and intelligent building, and Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools and foreign students' programs in civil engineering are set up. There are currently 48 faculty members/kloc-0, including 26 full-time teachers/kloc-0, 2035 undergraduates and 4 graduate students/kloc-0.

Advantages of disciplines and specialties

Civil engineering is a national specialty, the first batch of first-class specialty construction sites in China, the first batch of comprehensive reform pilot specialty of undergraduate specialty in local universities of national "undergraduate teaching engineering", the specialty of "excellent engineer education and training plan" of the Ministry of Education, the provincial key construction specialty of famous applied talents training schools in Shandong Province, and the high-level applied key construction specialty in Shandong Province. Shandong Zhongcheng Real Estate Co., Ltd., the engineering practice education center of Shandong Jianzhu University, was successfully approved as an off-campus practice education base for undergraduate teaching projects in local universities directly under the Ministry of Education.
