His research interests are animal physiology and ecology. Taking wild animals (such as birds) as the research object, this paper discusses the interaction between wild animals and the environment and the adaptive mechanism of physiological behavior from the aspects of population, individuals, cells and molecules by using the methods and technologies of ecology, behavior, physiology, neurobiology and molecular biology. Current main research direction: 1. The adaptation mechanism of hormone behavior and life history strategy of wild animals in changing environment: 2. The unique physiological and ecological strategy and regulation mechanism of wild animals in extreme environment; 3. Biodiversity and protection of rare and endangered species. At present, there are 5 graduate students, 3 doctoral students and 3 master students. He published more than 20 scientific research papers and participated in the compilation of monograph 10.
