Sing the voice of white-collar workers in big cities
Recently, a work theme song named "Little White Collar" became popular, which set off an upsurge of inspirational work on the Internet, and also pushed four male voices, Ding Bo, Zhang Erfeng, Daxing and Long Wen, who wrote, directed and performed the MV from behind the scenes to a glamorous stage. The song describes the happiness and struggle of the post-80s generation in the first-tier city of Beijing. They have not been smoothed by life, have no negative complaints and have the courage to realize their dreams. Most of the four singers are 70 years old, and many of them feel the same as those who are 80 years old. After 80s, in the face of complicated and cruel social pressure and competition, they have some helplessness and escape from reality, but they still keep their dreams firm. They performed the whole song with the inspirational attitude of youth struggle, and many bridges made people cry after listening.
As one of the main creations, Zhang Erfeng introduced that "Little White Collar" used many pop music elements in music, and the highlight of the song was the creation of song theme and lyrics. "Over the years, too many romantic inbreeding has made the original theme of the mainland music scene single, and no one dares to set foot in the hot workplace theme", and "Little White Collar" just fills a gap. As a result of many years of directing work, the creative way of story line is added to it. The lyrics written by Zhang Erfeng and Ding Bo do not go into details, but dissect some key words in the workplace vividly: nine to five, intense work, office romance, cruel competition among colleagues, parents' old age, loneliness at night, uncertainty about the future, persistent dreams and inspirational feelings, all of which are written without hesitation. Moreover, in the bridge after the chorus, the difficulty of singing songs suddenly increased, and Ding Bo's gorgeous treble was very surprising.
Although iconic pop music elements still appear from time to time, Zhang Erfeng and Ding Bo not only want to completely entertain the audience, but also want to express their feelings about the workplace and white-collar life in first-tier cities through this song, "superiority, anxiety, sense of accomplishment, frustration, happiness, humiliation and division".
In recent years, the topic of workplace survival is hot, and various related online hot posts, bestsellers and film and television dramas emerge one after another, but there are relatively few songs reflecting the workplace. "As pop musicians, in fact, we also pay attention to the life behind the workplace, and we have many years of workplace experience," Ding Bo said. "Our audience is not middle school students, but it is still a young group."
Zhang Erfeng, director of MV, introduced that the four people adopted a style similar to a band. In order to reproduce the working life of white-collar workers, Ding Bo and Long Wen chose Zhongguancun, Beijing as the focus of the shooting venue, and filmed around the CBD. In order to increase the plot, Daxing invited female singers Shu Ting and Gao Jing to play beautiful female white-collar workers. The "office romance" between Gao Jing and Ding Bo is even more imaginative. After the song was released, it was unanimously recognized by young white-collar workers. Many music critics call "Little White Collar" "the first song in the workplace", which has great market potential. Director Zhang Erfeng said that short films reflecting the workplace are also being filmed.
