Resume of Tang Youyu Zhenjiang
"Zhou" originally meant to live by the river, and later it was used as a geographical division, such as "Ancient Kyushu". During the period of Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty, the whole country was divided into thirteen states, most of which were named after ancient states, such as Qingzhou, Yuzhou and Jingzhou, so they were also called thirteen states. These thirteen states were originally prison districts, but they evolved into administrative districts at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and "Zhou" officially became the name of administrative divisions. Since Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, the number of states has gradually increased, and many regions began to take states as their names. As one of the most developed areas in China, there are many cities in Jiangsu named as prefectures, such as Suzhou, Yangzhou, Xuzhou and Changzhou. Some cities are no longer called prefectures, but they used to be prefectures in history, which is also reflected in their municipal districts, such as Zhenjiang and Lianyungang. Runzhou District is one of the main urban areas of Zhenjiang, located in the southwest of Zhenjiang. It used to be a suburb of Zhenjiang, later changed to Runzhou District, and now it is the seat of Zhenjiang. Zhenjiang has a long history. It is a famous land of abundance and a famous city in the south of the Yangtze River. It was once the capital of Jiangsu Province during the Republic of China, and now it is a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, which is one of the thirteen national historical and cultural cities under its jurisdiction. The land of Zhenjiang was the land of Wu Yuechu during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Dantu County was established after the Qin Dynasty destroyed the Six Kingdoms. Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties were called important towns in the south of the Yangtze River. Once located in the south of Xuzhou, Runzhou was established after the establishment of the Sui Dynasty, and it was named after Runpu in the east of the city. During the Sui Dynasty and the early Tang Dynasty, the "state system" gradually replaced the "county system", and several changes took place between states and counties. Zhenjiang is called Runzhou and Danyang County. After the mid-Tang Dynasty, it became Runzhou, and it was called Runzhou in the Five Dynasties and the Northern Song Dynasty. In the third year of Zheng He (A.D. 1 13), Runzhou was promoted to Zhenjiang Prefecture. Haizhou District is the central city of Lianyungang, a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, which is located on the coast of the Yellow Sea. It is the seat of Lianyungang and the political, economic and cultural center of Lianyungang. Haizhou is also an ancient name in the history of Lianyungang. As an organization name, it has a history of 1400 years. In history, it was once known as "a famous county in the East China Sea" and "the first state in Huaihai East". Haizhou has a long history. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it was the land of Lu and Chu successively. After the destruction of Chu in the Qin Dynasty, Quxian County was established, which has a history of more than 2,200 years and belongs to Tan County (later changed to Donghai County). Qu County in Han Dynasty was also a county under the jurisdiction of Donghai County. During the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Haizhou was in a fierce confrontation between the north and the south, and its members and organizational system changed frequently. Qu county was once deserted, and then moved to Haizhou. In the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Quxian County was renamed Qushan County, which was still under the jurisdiction of Haizhou. Sui and Tang Dynasties changed their names to Donghai County many times. After Donghai County was renamed Haizhou in the first year of Tang Dynasty (AD 758), Haizhou became a stable organizational system. Haizhou belonged to Huainan East Road in the Northern Song Dynasty and Shandong East Road after entering the gold. In the Yuan Dynasty, it was promoted to Haizhou Road, and later to Haining State. In the early Ming Dynasty, Haining Prefecture was renamed Haizhou, and Yishan County entered Haizhou, belonging to Huai 'an Prefecture. In the early Qing dynasty, it was attacked by the Ming dynasty. In the second year of Yongzheng (1724), Haizhou was promoted to Zhili Prefecture, belonging to Jiangsu Province. In the early years of the Republic of China, Zhili Prefecture in Haizhou was abolished as a county.
