When replacing the filter capacitor, turn off the main power supply of the compensation cabinet first; Then disconnect the breaker switch; Then wait for the power capacitor bank to discharge. Cook Cooper filter capacitor is designed to discharge below 50V in three minutes, and can be specially designed if 1 minute is needed.
Step 2: Discharge the capacitors respectively.
After re-discharging, each capacitor should be discharged one by one. The discharge method is: use the metal grounding rod on the insulating rod to contact the terminal of the power capacitor for discharge.
Step 3: Remove the damaged capacitor.
Remove the damaged power capacitors from left to right and from top to bottom one by one; Then use a wrench to loosen the screws that fix the capacitors, and remove the capacitors one by one according to the sequence of removing the wires.
Step 4: Replace the filter capacitor and check whether the line connection is normal.
Select the same type of power capacitor, connect and fix it; After the replacement is completed, check whether the power capacitor is firm and whether the connection of each phase line is normal.
Step 5: Power-on test and trial operation.
After replacing the capacitor, turn on the circuit breaker and the main switch; Try to electrify for three times at rated voltage. If there is no fault, try running again for 24 hours. During the trial operation, patrol and inspection should be strengthened.
