Unique marine snail: this snail is found in submarine volcanoes near the coast of Japan, and its shell is covered with rows of fine hair. This is the only snail found so far. This unnamed marine snail is one of many new species found in the survey of marine life.

New types of marine snails are found in deep-sea hot springs, that is, places with extreme pressure, high temperature and eternal darkness, and are born by eating symbiotic bacteria living under their gills.
