When putting down the rebellion, Feng Ang was resourceful and fearless. During the reign of Emperor Yangdi (58 1-600), Feng Ang was appointed as the county magistrate of Songkang (now Yangxi, Guangdong) because of his ancestors' meritorious service.
In the 10th year of Guangxu (590), Wang, a foreigner from Panyu, revolted, and the leaders of all ethnic groups in Lingnan responded one after another. Wang led an army to surround Guangzhou. Feng Ang's grandmother sent her grandson (Feng Ang's younger brother) to lead the army to save Guangzhou. Feng Xuan has always been friendly with the rebel general Chen Fozhi, so he deliberately refused to stay. Mrs Xian was very angry when she learned that, so she sent someone to the army to arrest Feng Xuan and put him in a residual prison. Feng Ang led an army to attack Chen Fozhi, and Feng Ang defeated the rebels and beheaded Chen Fozhi. Feng Ang led his troops to join the army of Lu Yuan, the general of Sui Dynasty, and then joined forces with Murong Sanzang, the commander-in-chief of Guangzhou, to attack the king. Wang's army was defeated, so Guangzhou was preserved. Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty appointed Feng Ang as the secretariat of Gaozhou because of his rebellion.
In the first year of Renshou (60 1), the servants of Chaozhou, Chengzhou and other five states rebelled, and Feng Ang rode to the capital and asked the court to send troops to crusade against the servants. Emperor Wendi of Sui ordered his left servant to shoot Su Yang and Feng Ang to discuss his servant's rebellion. Su Yang was shocked by Feng Ang and said, "I didn't expect such people in the barbarians!" Then Emperor Wendi ordered Feng Ang to collect troops from Jiangnan and Lingnan to attack his followers. After the rebellion subsided, Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty appointed Dr. Feng Ang and Dr. Jin Guanglu as the magistrate of Hanyang.
In the seventh year of Great Cause (6 1 1), Feng Ang went to Liaodong with Emperor Yang Guang of Yang Di, and was promoted to General Zuo Wuwei for his meritorious service.
After occupying Yining in Lingnan for two years (6 18), the Sui Dynasty perished. Feng Ang rushed back to Lingnan, gathered the people, became a leader himself, and commanded 50,000 people. Soon, Feng Angyi attached a forest separated from Lingnan by Cangwu, Gaoliang, Panyu.
In the third year of Tang Wude (620), Guang (Panyu) and Xinzhou (now emerging in Guangdong) were thieves and Xian Baoche, who killed the former officials of the Sui Dynasty, occupying two states and lianlin. Feng Ang led the army to defeat them. Soon, Bao Bao's nephew Shen assembled an army in NSW, claiming to be the leader and confronting Feng Ang. Feng Ang led the army to discuss. As soon as the two armies met, Feng Ang took off his helmet and shouted, "Do you know me?" Most of the enemy troops threw down their weapons, took off their battle clothes, and bowed down to him with their upper bodies exposed, so the rebels dispersed. Feng Ang captured Xi Baoche and Xi Chen Zhi alive, so he occupied Guangzhou, Cangwu (now Wuzhou, Guangxi) and Zhu Ya (now Leizhou Peninsula and Hainan Island) and claimed to be the general manager. At that time, Feng Ang was advised to say: "The Sui Dynasty was the last time, with disintegration, turmoil and domestic chaos; Although the King of the Tang Dynasty appeared, his influence and enlightenment are not convincing, and the land of Baiyue in Lingnan has not yet belonged. Gong Ming conquered and pacified 20 states, covering thousands of miles of Fiona Fang. Can it be compared with nine counties in Zhao Tuo in Han Dynasty? Today, the name has not been determined. Please add the name of' King of South Vietnam'. " Feng Ang said: "I have lived in Baiyue for five generations. I am the only surname in the jurisdiction of the county governor, and I have children. There is very little wealth like me in the world. I am often afraid that I can't afford the burden and live up to my ancestors. How dare I follow Zhao Tuo's example and be king? " Thanks to Feng Ang's good governance, the situation in Lingnan is stable and the society is peaceful.
On July 18, AD 622, when Feng Ang surrendered to Wude of the Tang Dynasty, he accepted the obituary of Li Jing, a general of the Tang Dynasty, and led his men to surrender to the Tang Dynasty. Tang Gaozu set up eight states of Gao, Luo, Chun, Bai, Ya, Yun, Lin and Zhen within the jurisdiction of Feng Ang, appointed Feng Ang as the presidential system of Shangzhou and Gaozhou (now Yangjiang, Guangdong), sealed Wu Gong, and soon changed it to Yue Gong. Feng An's son, Feng Renchun (now Yangchun, Guangdong), was the secretariat of history, and Feng Zhi was the secretariat of Donghe (now Leizhou, Guangdong). Soon, Tang Gaozu changed Feng Ang to Geng Guogong.
Loyal to the first year of Zhenguan in the imperial court (627), Feng Ang and Tan Dian fought with each other and did not enter the DPRK for a long time. Feng Ang, the local commander-in-chief, was accused of rebellion for more than ten times, and Emperor Taizong ordered Lin Mu, the general of right Wuwei, and others to wage a massive crusade against military forces in dozens of States in Jiang and Ling. Wei Zhi, the minister, remonstrated, saying, "The Central Plains has just been pacified, Lingnan is a long way away, the terrain is dangerous, and there is a miasma of plague, so we can't station troops. Moreover, the situation of Feng Ang's rebellion has not yet formed, and it is not appropriate to encourage the masses. " Emperor Taizong said: "There is an endless stream of people accusing Feng Ang of rebellion. How can we say that the situation of rebellion has not yet formed? " Wei Zhi said, "If Feng Ang rebelled, he would divide his troops and take risks and attack the neighboring counties. It has been several years since he was accused of rebellion, and Feng's military forces have not left the country. Obviously, there is no sign of rebellion. As the state capitals suspected Feng of rebellion, Your Majesty did not send envoys to appease him. Feng was afraid of death and dared not come to the court. If your majesty sends envoys to show his sincerity, Feng Bixi will avoid disaster and make him obedient without having to work in the army. " Emperor Taizong then ordered a retreat.
On the sixth day of October of the same year, Emperor Taizong sent Sanshou to attend to Wei (Sanshou assistant minister Li) to Lingnan to mourn Feng Ang, and Feng Ang asked his son Feng to return to the DPRK with the envoys. Emperor Taizong said, "Wei Zhi asked me to send an envoy, which can stabilize Lingnan, which is better than the role of a hundred thousand troops. I can't help but reward. " Give Kevin·Z 500 silks.
In the fifth year of Zhenguan (63 1), Feng Ang went to Beijing to appear before Emperor Taizong, who hosted a banquet and gave him very rich items.
Soon, the current people in Luodou Cave rebelled, and Emperor Taizong ordered Feng Ang to lead 20,000 troops as the pioneers of all the armies. At that time, there were tens of thousands of rebels, all of whom were hiding in dangerous places, and it was difficult for all armies to move forward. Feng Ang said to the people around him with a crossbow, "I'll shoot this arrow at once, and the outcome will be clear." Feng Ang fired seven arrows in succession, killing seven enemy soldiers, and all the Liao people fled. Feng Ang hunted them down and beheaded more than 1000 people. After the rebellion of Liao people was put down, Emperor Taizong praised Feng Ang's contribution, ordered Feng to go back to Lingnan to offer condolences, and gave him countless gifts. Feng Ang covers an area of 2,000 Li, with more than 0/0000 handmaiden/kloc, and many rare treasures. Feng Ang is good at governing the country, personally consulting financial affairs, cashier's books and documents, exposing hidden evil people and things, and is deeply loved by the people and subordinates.
In the twentieth year of Zhenguan (646), Feng Ang died of illness. After Feng Ang's death, the court posthumously awarded him the title of General Zuo Qiwei and the secretariat of Jingzhou.
