Born in August, 1974, a native of Linqing, Shandong Province, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is currently the director of the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering and the assistant director of the State Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacturing and Equipment Technology. 1996 graduated from xidian university with a bachelor's degree. In 2002, he graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a doctorate.

In 2004, he was the backbone member of the "Digital Design and Manufacturing" innovation team of the Ministry of Education and the winner of "Outstanding Talents in the New Century" of the Ministry of Education in 2008. Member of ASME and IEEE, Senior Member of China Mechanical Engineering Society, Member of China Logistics Society, Member of Youth Working Committee of Production Engineering Branch of China Mechanical Engineering Society, Member of Intelligent Manufacturing Professional Committee of China Artificial Intelligence Society, Executive Director and Deputy Secretary-General of Hubei Logistics Society, Secretary-General of Industrial Engineering Branch of Hubei Mechanical Engineering Society.

Mainly engaged in modern optimization methods and their application in design and manufacturing. He has presided over or participated in five national 863 projects and five national natural science foundation projects. At present, he has presided over or participated in two national natural science foundation projects, presided over 863 projects 1 and participated in 973 projects 1. He was awarded twice by the Engineering and Materials Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, namely the "Top Ten" Project Progress and Achievement Award (July 2002) (ranked second) and the "Excellent Award-winning Project Award" (ranked 1). In 2008, he won the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education 1 (ranked 7th) (ranked 7th in research and development of key technologies and engineering application of automobile production MES).
