At present, the writers' village has been deeply recognized and highly praised at home and abroad, officially and privately, and has become a rare cultural brand in Guangdong Province and even the whole country.

The TV series "Sketch" written by Wang Yiding (starring Zhao Erkang, Chaoyin Pu and Chen Rui) was broadcast on CCTV and provincial TV stations many times as early as the early 1990s, which achieved a breakthrough in the exhibition and broadcasting of Dongguan writers' film and television works on CCTV since liberation.
