Chen Ting, a native of Wuxi, was born in 198 1. She used to be a dancer in Wuxi Dance Company. It is said that she studied at the Beijing Film Academy and is Zhang Yimou's remarried wife. He has three children, the eldest son Zhang Yinan, the second son Zhang and the youngest daughter Zhang Yijiao were born in Beijing in 200 1, 2004 and 2006 respectively.
