When the national flag is hung on a building or outdoors, it should be raised at sunrise and lowered at sunset. When the flag is hung on the car, the direction of the car shall prevail, with the driver's left hand as the main party and his right hand as the guest party. The so-called guest of honor is not based on the country where the event is held, but on the organizer of the event. For example, when a foreign delegation visits, the host country holds a welcome banquet, and the host country is the main person; Thank you banquet, the guest is the host. There are also some countries that fly national flags at the top.
The national flag cannot be hung upside down. The national flags of some countries cannot be hung vertically or upside down because of words and patterns. Some countries clearly stipulate that vertical hanging requires another flag to turn the pattern into a positive one. Therefore, it is advisable to hang the national flag on a formal occasion with the front (that is, the flag surface is set on the right side of the national flag) facing the audience, not the back. If the flag is hung on the wall, avoid cross hanging and vertical hanging. If you hang the flag in the air, it won't be a problem.
The design, style, color and proportion of the national flag are stipulated by the Constitution. If the national flags of different countries are made of materials of the same size and different proportions, the two national flags will appear different sizes when put together. For example, a flag with the same width of six feet is three to two and two to one. Therefore, national flags of different proportions should be hung side by side, slightly enlarged or reduced at the same time, so that the national flag area is roughly the same.
