The contest was hosted by China Vocational Education Association, undertaken by Zhejiang China Vocational Education Association and Zhejiang University of Finance, supported and guided by China Securities Association, Zhejiang Securities Regulatory Bureau and Hangzhou Central Branch of China People's Bank, and undertaken by china galaxy Securities. It is a financial and business competition mainly for school-age students of applied undergraduate and vocational colleges (including technical colleges) in China. The competition covers many financial sub-fields such as securities, futures and insurance. , including six competitions, such as stock simulation trading individual competition, securities simulation trading team competition and financial planning team competition, aims to show the core of Huang Yanpei's vocational education spirit through the practice of "combination of teaching and competition", "integration of class competition and post certificate" and technical escort.

There are about 17000 students and 353 teams registered for the competition in 277 colleges and universities, including undergraduate colleges 1 12 and vocational colleges 165 (including 34 vocational students).

On the morning of 2002 1,1,the awarding ceremony of "Huang Yanpei Cup" National College Students' Wealth Management (Investment and Financial Management) Knowledge and Skills Competition was grandly held in the way of Beijing-Hangzhou synchronization and online-offline linkage. More than 29,500 people participated in the closing ceremony and award ceremony online through the panoramic live broadcast platform.

In the end, this competition produced 20 first prizes, 30 second prizes, 30 third prizes for individual stock simulation trading 100, 23 first prizes for competition area and international students' track, 5 first prizes for APP financial knowledge competition of China Securities Association, 30 third prizes, and the first prize for securities simulation trading team competition 10. There are 5 first prizes, 2 nd prizes 10 team and 3 rd prizes 15 team in the financial planning team competition, 5 first prizes, 2 nd prizes 10 team and 3 rd prizes 15 team in the insurance business team competition, and the individual first prizes and 2 nd prizes/kloc-in the quantitative trading team competition. According to the reward method, 48 "excellent tutors" were selected and 22 institutions won the "Excellent Organization Award".
