After the Five Dynasties, in 958, Zhou Xiande changed Yang Ning Town to Chae Yeon Town, which still belonged to Shaowu County in Jianzhou. Because it was in the early Song Dynasty. In the fourth year of Taiping and Xingguo (979), Shaowu County was promoted to army and Chae Yeon Town was promoted to county, which was the beginning of Guangze County. Because Chae Yeon Town governs two townships, namely husband and wife and Guangze, Guangze Township is named after the county name, so it is called Guangze County, which belongs to Shao, a south road in southwest Zhejiang. In the second year of Yongxi (985), Fujian Road was changed to Shaodao.

Gloss began in the Neolithic Age and went through primitive society, slave society, feudal society, semi-feudal and semi-colonial society and socialist society for more than 4,000 years, but it was founded in Song Taiping in 979.
There are three theories about the origin of the name of Guangze County:
Named after Hao Jing.
Glossy, with mountains and water. The Qing Kangxi edition of Guangze County Annals describes the geographical features of the county with four words: "green mountains and beautiful blue waves". Refers to the vast mountains and forests in China, which are shaped like jade and shining with light. It is also a stream with numerous springs and hundreds of streams. A complete gathering place. Explain the word gloss to the fullest.
Famous for producing silver.
Glossy, which means the bright light reflected from the surface of an object. In the seventh year of Tang Wude (624), when Guangze Township and Luanfeng Township in the north of Shaowu County were placed under Yang Ning Town, they were named Guangze Township. According to legend, Guangze Township was on the North Road in the early Tang Dynasty. Because the silver mine in Taiyin is of good quality, the county magistrate praised "this silver is very good and its luster is very good" when he visited the luster. Tang Gaozu tang gaozu also praised "this silver is wonderful and has a good luster". The place name comes from this.
Named after a legend
First, according to legend, a long time ago, Guangze County was called Wusha County, and it was dark day and night, like Wusha coping. The reason is that a kind of black dragon essence, which has been practiced for thousands of years, makes the whole county town dark and restless. Later, it was torn down by Erlang God who came down to inspect. In order to thank Erlang God for slaying the dragon spirit, seeing the light again and benefiting the world, people changed "Wu Jun County" to "Guangze County". Secondly, it is said that a barefoot fairy went to the flat peach club of the Queen Mother in ancient times and learned that there was no county name. Seeing that the surrounding area was bare and the flat land was narrow, she casually named it "Guangping". A few years later, Daxian went to the flat peach banquet, glanced at the clouds, and found that this place has become a fairyland on earth. He lamented that the people here are hardworking and will have endless blessings in the future, so he changed "smoothness" to "luster", which has been passed down from generation to generation and is still in use today.
