The explanation of "no" is not an adverb. Used in front of verbs, adjectives and other words to express negation or in front of nouns or nominal morphemes to form a descriptor: don't go. Not much. Illegal. I didn't expect that. Poor material (average talent, often used as modesty). Not published (without modification, indelible). No learning, no skill. Uninvited guest. Begging others to do things for themselves just by asking for explanations.
