Lianhuachi Park has pavilions, small bridges, flowing water, trees and flowers-Lianhuachi Village, once a messy city, has become an open park with Jiangnan garden style. It is reported that the Lianhuachi Park, which has been invested 52 million yuan for nearly one year, will be officially opened to the public in September. According to Wang Xun, director of Wuhua District Construction Bureau, the "Lianhuachi District Reconstruction" project started from June 5438 to February 2006. This project is an important part of the "Four Innovations" and the "4+ 1" park project in our city, and it is also one of the pilot projects of urban village reconstruction. The project includes demolition, the construction of Lianhuachi Park, the demolition building of Lianhuachi, the widening and reconstruction of the main street of Lianhuachi, and the development and construction of the central intelligent area. The total investment of project demolition is about 820 million yuan, and the construction of relocated houses is expected to be completed in 2009. The demolition work of Lianhuachi area lasted for more than seven months, and more than 700 households, including factories, mines, rural collective economic units, residents and villagers, were demolished 1700, with 230,000 square meters of houses demolished and 204 mu of land requisitioned. The park covers a total area of 8 1.7 mu, with a total construction area of 1.723 square meters, a water area of about 23,000 square meters, a green area of about 30,000 square meters and a tree coverage rate of 90%. Liu Jianqing, deputy head of Wuhua District, revealed that Lianhuachi District, because of its unique geographical location-many universities and research institutes in our province are gathered around it, and it is adjacent to the largest IT industry concentration in our province-121street, as early as 2006, the district government made clear the "intelligence center", "history and culture" and "electronic digital commerce" of the district. With the completion of the park and the overall development of the area, Wuhua District will accelerate the resource integration of the old campus after the construction of the new campus of colleges and universities, give full play to the role of scientific research institutions as the source of scientific and technological innovation, and gradually form the hardware foundation and basic pattern of the central intelligence area with "12 1" street and Xueyuan Road running through Jinding Science Park and Lianhuachi Park.
