Ding was born in Yixing, Jiangsu Province in 1955. 1973 Joined Zisha Craft Factory and worked in fine arts for more than 30 years. He studied under Gao, Shu, and then under the master of arts and crafts. 1985 studied in Nanjing Art Institute, 1989 graduated from Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. He has cooperated with Pan Chunfang, a professor of Nanyi, Zhang Shouzhi, a professor of Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, and Han Meilin, a master of fine arts. Representative works "Three Sheep Have a Good Time" and "Five Sheep Make a Pot" have been reported and published by CCTV and Xinhua Daily. His works have won many national and provincial appraisal awards. Simple modeling and profound artistic skill are my consistent pursuit of inheriting the style of a teacher. Artistic creation comes from life and is higher than life. It is hard-working and tempered. In the process of accumulating rich artistic skills, there are often exquisite works, which are well received by pot lovers and experts at home and abroad.
