Ban Yuan Hong Chao [Abstract] Cui Yingying is the heroine in The West Chamber, one of the four great love dramas in Yuan Dynasty. She is an anti-feudal rebel who pursues happy love and strives for freedom of marriage, portrayed by the author Wang Shifu. By analyzing the psychological changes of Cui Yingying's personality in pursuit of love freedom, this paper highlights the evolution process of his love view, and compares it with Yuan Zhen's Biography of Yingying, and analyzes the similarities and differences of Cui Yingying's love view. [Keywords:] Yingying's personality psychology "Biography of Yingying" and "The West Chamber" [1] tells the story of Zhang Junrui, a scholar, who went to Beijing to catch the exam, passed by the riverside cabin and met Yingying, the daughter of the former prime minister, at Pujiu Temple. They fell in love at first sight. When the rebel generals besieged the Pujiu Temple and wanted to marry Yingying, mother Cui said in the temple, "Those who can retire the thieves and soldiers will marry their wives.". Zhang Shengzhi retired, but Cui's mother broke off her marriage. With the help of the matchmaker, Yingying finally got married. After Zhang Sheng entered the Imperial Examination High School, he was finally recognized by Cui Mu and regained his beauty. In the end, everything will be fine, and all shall be well. In this paper, Yingying's view of love changes according to the obstacles she encountered in her communication with Zhang Sheng. First, Yingying's personality and psychological changes Yingying is a woman deeply branded with feudal ethics, and also a woman who dares to pursue her own love and is sure of her own destiny. The History of China Literature [2] evaluates Yingying as "enthusiastic and calm, clever and cunning, who wants to enter, retreat and return, and seems to be full of contradictions everywhere."
