According to Shen Wei, curator, the main purpose of this exhibition is to explore the cognitive differences of artists in the era of rapid change and development and the historical time correction of expressing the diversity of content.

Dozens of old painters in the Ming and Yuan Dynasties are now famous one by one, recalling the hard life when they first came to Songzhuang. It is believed that the appearance of painters in Ming and Yuan Dynasties promoted the prosperity of Song and Zhuang culture. They believe that the persistent pursuit of art, the yearning for freedom, the pursuit of the meaning of life, the search for spiritual home in wandering, and the expression of the power of life in the materialized world have become valuable spiritual wealth for Songzhuang artists.
The avant-garde and vanguard of art form, the richness of content, the persistence of individual life and the vigilance of the art market eroded by capital constitute the artistic characteristics of contemporary Songzhuang.
