Development of Lanzhou Branch of Chinalco
1June, 958, according to the spirit of the regional cooperation meeting of Northwest Bureau on rapidly building an aluminum factory with an annual output of 25,000 tons in Gansu, the Ministry of Metallurgy decided to build Lanzhou Aluminum Factory, and the site was chosen in Xiliugou Township, Xigu District, 28 kilometers away from Lanzhou City. On July 2nd, 1958, the preliminary work of Lanzhou Aluminum Factory was officially started, and the project officially broke ground on August 4th. In the process of construction, the Ministry of Metallurgy made major modifications and changes to the original design scheme. 1958, 10 In June, it was decided to change the original design of steel structure electrolyzer into 168 self-baking anode brick electrolyzer, and the production capacity was also reduced from the original design of 25,000 tons to 23,000 tons. At the same time, a small aluminum factory was built near the big aluminum factory, with 88 sets of circular electrolytic cells with 6KA conductive self-baking anode bricks, with an annual output of aluminum ingots1000t, and later the production capacity was expanded to 2,000t. In addition, an anode paste workshop with an annual output of 6.5438+0.5 million tons has been built. Small aluminum plant started aluminum production on March 28th, 1958, which produced the first aluminum ingot for northwest China. For various reasons, a total of 168 electrolyzers were not fully put into operation until May 9th. After putting into production, the brick electrolyzer was seriously damaged due to the congenital deficiency in design, and it was forced to stop production on February 28, 65438+ 1960. On June 25th, 1962, all production was stopped and dismounted. 1In August, 964, all the fixed assets of Lanzhou Aluminum Factory were handed over to Lanzhou Chemical Company of the Ministry of Chemical Industry for management. Until June 1965 1 1, the State Planning Commission, the Economic and Trade Commission and the Construction Committee agreed that Lanzhou Aluminum Plant would resume production. On March 1966, the renovation project of Lanzhou aluminum plant broke ground, and on February 28th 1967, the first qualified aluminum ingot was produced, which was fully completed and put into production. 1971may 12, Lanzhou aluminum factory formally proposed to Gansu metallurgical department to expand the third electrolytic plant and add 54 electrolyzers. After the project started, by June 29th 1973, all 54 electrolyzers had been installed and put into production. The total investment of the expansion project is12.7 million yuan, and 8000 tons of aluminum ingots are added. 1985 The third workshop was expanded again, and 32 electrolyzers were added, with a total investment of13.77 million yuan and 4,500 tons of aluminum ingots. 1On July 23rd, 986, Lanzhou Aluminum Factory submitted a report on the construction of the fourth workshop to China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation. Through self-financing, the expansion project of the fourth workshop started in June 1 986+February1,and by April 1989, 22 electrolyzers were built on the basis of the original 9,000 tons. 1987165438+1On October 24th, Lanzhou Aluminum Factory built a carbon factory in Wanhe Village, Ping 'an Township, Honggu District, Lanzhou City, with an annual design capacity of 30,000 tons. The project passed the completion acceptance at the end of 1989 12 and was put into production. 1993, the company built a new 60KA electrolytic production line in Wanhe Village, Ping 'an Township, Honggu District, Lanzhou City, with an annual output of 30,000 tons of aluminum ingots. 1997, the company merged the Northwest Aluminum Processing Plant by taking on debts, realizing the integration of smelting and processing (Northwest Aluminum was separated from Lanzhou Aluminum on May 24, 2007). 1April, 1999, with the approval of the State Economic and Trade Commission, the State Economic and Trade Enterprise Reform [1999] No.251,with Lanzhou Aluminum Factory as the main sponsor, jointly initiated the establishment of Lanzhou Aluminum Co., Ltd. with four enterprises including Lanzhou Economic Information Consulting Company, Lanzhou Yongda Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Aluminum Processing Factory and Lanzhou Xing Aluminum Trade Department. So far, Lanzhou Aluminum Factory has successfully established Lanzhou Aluminum Co., Ltd. On August 18, 2000, the company invested 1 3.5 billion yuan in Wanhe Village, Ping 'an Township, Honggu District, Lanzhou City to build a 200KA large-scale pre-baked aluminum electrolysis technical transformation project, which was completed on June12006 and put into operation smoothly. The project includes power supply system, carbon system and cast-rolling system. In 2004, the company resolutely decided to "exchange equity for development rights", implemented asset restructuring and joined China Aluminum Company. After unremitting efforts, on June 5438+1October 65438+September 2005, Chinalco acquired 2890 shares of state-owned legal person held by Lanzhou Aluminum Factory in cash, becoming the largest shareholder of Lanzhou Aluminum Company, and Lanzhou Aluminum Company officially became a holding subsidiary of Chinalco. On August 12, 2005, the state-approved electrolytic aluminum technical transformation project and the 3×300MW self-provided power plant project started construction grandly. The electrolytic aluminum technical transformation project is the ninth batch of special funds for national debt, with a planned investment of 654.38+86 billion yuan, adopting the international leading and domestic first-class 350KA large-scale prebaked electrolytic aluminum technology, and introducing some key technologies and equipment from abroad. After one year and eight months' efforts, it was put into operation on May 15, 2007. The self-owned power plant project was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in June 2004 and July 2005. The planned total investment is about 43.91100 million yuan, and 3×300MW domestic coal-fired air-cooled generator set and flue gas desulfurization device are installed. The first unit was put into trial operation in June 5438+February 2008, and was fully completed and put into operation in June 5438+February 2008, with an annual maximum power generation of 6.5 billion kWh, providing electricity for electrolytic aluminum production. In August 2006, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Gansu Province signed the Letter of Intent on Promoting the Equity Transfer between Lanzhou Aluminum Co., Ltd. and Lanzhou Aluminum Factory, and initially reached the intention of transferring the equity of Lanzhou Aluminum Co., Ltd. held by Lanzhou Aluminum Factory (except for investing in Lanzhou Aluminum Power Generation Company) to Chinalco. The remaining 65,438+04.65% equity of Lanzhou Aluminum Factory was transferred to China Aluminum Company at one time, making Lanzhou Aluminum Company enter the Chinalco family. On February 25th, 2006, 65438, the company absorbed and merged Lanzhou Aluminum Company and the share-trading reform plan of Lanzhou Aluminum Company through China Aluminum Company. On April 30th, 2007, China Aluminum Company merged with Lanzhou Aluminum Company and successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. As an independent listed company, Lanzhou Aluminum Company withdrew from the historical stage and became a branch of China Aluminum Company listed in the United States, Hongkong and Shanghai. On May 24th, China Aluminum held a cadre meeting of Lanzhou Branch, and announced the establishment of Lanzhou Branch of China Aluminum, with Li Ning as general manager and Wang Hong as party secretary. 654381Oct 8, the office building of Lanzhou Branch of China Aluminum Industry officially moved into the newly-built Technology Center Building. The main leaders in previous years are: Fang, Liu Zhenyang, Xia, Zhai, Cao Shourang, Pan Xingguo, Feng Shiwei.
