Slave usually refers to a person who loses his personal freedom and is arbitrarily driven by others (usually slave owners) to do things for him. "Slave" and "Li" existed in the pre-Qin period, but the word "slave" only appeared in works after the Han Dynasty. In the history of the world, people became slaves because of war, crime, bankruptcy, bloodline and other reasons, and were given and traded as valuable commodities while becoming labor tools. Slaves can regain their freedom through escape, redemption and meritorious service. The famous slave in history is Spartacus. With the progress of society and the development of the times, the category of slaves has been far away from the original definition, and gradually extended to be subject to certain things or behaviors, which makes them lose the ability of independence and free control and lead a "enslaved" life, mainly manifested as house slaves, card slaves, child slaves, network slaves, sex slaves, mobile slaves, degree slaves, love slaves, TV slaves and so on.
