His research expertise is literature of pre-Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, China's prose history, China's classical literature acceptance history and research history. 1998-2000 Teaching Chinese and China Literature at Kyoto Foreign Studies University. Editor-in-chief of various teaching materials, presided over 3 national, provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, and the horizontal project 1, among which the national youth social science fund project "Research History of China Classical Literature" won the third prize of national outstanding social science achievements and the national book award 1999.
He wrote and published Zhuangzi (Feng Chun Literature and Art Publishing House), Taoist Thought and Literature of Han and Wei Dynasties, and made a unique exposition of Zhuangzi Thought and its influence on later generations.
