He Wei, awarded the first-class Red Star Medal by the Soviet Union, was a famous senior general in the early days of the Red Army. He is known as the "little Zhuge" of the Red Fourth Army. It is said that he is of Vietnamese origin and his grandparents are Vietnamese.
On the way to the Long March, He Wei served as the commander of the Ninth Army of the Red Fourth Army, the political commissar of the Red Army University, and the detachment leader of the Mao Gong detachment. Lead the troops to meet the CPC Central Committee and the Red Army. He Wei repeatedly made meritorious military service and was an outstanding general of our party and army at that time. Later, he disappeared because of a route dispute.
