Li Gang (1922~200 1 year) was born in Sanyuan, Shaanxi. 1938 entered Yan' an anti-university study. Joined China the following year. He used to be the director of the Political Department of the Eighth Route Army 1 15 Division, the instructor of the Third Division of the New Fourth Army, the battalion commander of the Northeast Military Region, the chief of staff of the regiment, and the deputy head of the Fourth Field Army. 1950 Participated in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and served as the head of Chinese people's Volunteer Army, chief of staff of the division and deputy division commander. After returning home, he became a teacher. 1959 graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff of voroshilov, USSR. Later, he served as Minister of Military Training Department of the General Staff, Chief of Staff and Deputy Commander of the Beijing Garrison, and Commander and Adviser of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force. He died in Beijing on September 20th, 20001at the age of 79.
