Are Yang all Hongnong?
Yang is not always a hongnong. Hongnong Yang, a gentry surnamed Yang with Hongnong County (Huayin County, Shaanxi Province) as the county seat, originated from Yang Chang, the prime minister of Han Dynasty and the son-in-law of Sima Qian. Yang Zhen, the great-grandson of Yang Chang, is the official residence of Qiu in the Eastern Han Dynasty and is known as "Confucius in Kansai". His sons Yang Bing, Sun Yangci and great-grandson Yang Biao are all Qiu, and they are called "Qiu IV" and "Tokyo Noble Family".

Hongnong, a county-level administrative division established for a long time from Han Dynasty to Northern Song Dynasty, has always been the seat of hongnong county. When Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty set up Hongnong County, it was also called Hongnong, which was the beginning of Hongnong County and was located along the Yellow River in the northeast of lingbao city, Sanmenxia City, Henan Province.

During the Sui Dynasty, the scope of hongnong county was reduced and it lost its jurisdiction along the Yellow River. Although it retained the name of Hongnong County, it moved to the southwest of lingbao city today. Since then, Hongnong County once had the name of Hengnong and Changnong, and it was not until 1997 that it was renamed as Guolve because of the name of Zhou Guo that it lost the name of Hongnong.
