The Historical Evolution of Eagle Hand Boxing
The content of "Yuejia Sanshou" has been continuously enriched and developed through the continuous research and practice of martial arts experts in past dynasties. In the Ming Dynasty, Li Quanshan, a famous monk in Shaolin Temple, was famous for his talons and grasping skills. Seeing that the technique of "Yue Sanshou" is very practical and convenient for actual combat, the monks in Li Quanshan practiced both the eagle claw and "Yue Sanshou", bringing out the best in each other. Sanshou in Yue Family spread to Tongzhi and Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. Liu Shijun met two eminent monks, Fa Cheng and Dao Ji, in Guzhuangtou Village, Xiongxian County, Hebei Province, and learned the martial arts of "Yuejia Eagle Claw Sanshou". At that time, there were only nine kinds of techniques handed down, which were characterized by splitting tendons and setting bones, acupoints and closing qi, sticking clothes and cutting pulse, and grasping and beating. Liu Shijun worked hard day and night and won the boxing skill. A few years later, his martial arts reached perfection. Liu Shijun used to be a martial arts instructor in the Qing guard camp. After retiring from the army in his later years and returning to his hometown, he passed on the martial arts secret of "Eagle Claw YueSanshou" to his family and grandchildren. Liu Chengyou is good at Shaolin Boxing, Fanzi Boxing and Light Skill. Later, he got Liu Shijun's martial arts such as Sanshou of Yue Family and Li Anquan of Eagle Claw. For example, the tiger with wings, martial arts chinese odyssey. Liu Chengyou also passed on his martial arts such as "Eagle Claw, Yue Sanshou" to his nephew Chen Zizheng. Chen Zizheng, a famous martial arts educator in China, was once the vice president of the Jason Wu Association of Shanghai Central Committee, and was known as the "Eagle Claw King".
The name of Eagle Hand Boxing is Chen Zizheng. "Eagle Hand Boxing" is completely different from the popular "Eagle Claw Boxing" in content and form. "Eagle Hand Boxing" is purely for actual combat, and its appearance has no artistic beauty of performance. Coupled with the extremely tiring, monotonous and boring practice methods, there are very few practitioners in the world. "Eagle Hand Boxing" is pictographic, but there is no pictographic action of eagle shape during the drill. Take the characteristics of the eagle, such as fierceness, strong will, sharp eyes, agility and strong arm strength, to name many martial arts such as "Yue Sanshou" and "Eagle Claw Boxing".

When hitting, the acupoints will be closed, combining rigidity with softness, combining movement with seven forces, opening the bow left and right, moving like a tiger, being as quiet as a virgin, making a diversion, moving like lightning, flying like the wind, and having both offensive and defensive functions. According to the strength of the enemy, we won't talk about it. Seven forces are mixed, round and powerful, which can uproot opponents and leave them behind. Its boxing method is wide in scope, brave and strong, free to shake and twist, simple and lively, practical and good at attacking when facing the enemy, which has achieved the essence of Neijia boxing.
The Development Status of Eagle Hand Boxing
Changes of eagle hand boxing movements
At first, the footwork of this kind of boxing is to hook the plate from the outside to the inside, and each time you draw half a circle, your feet cross, which is called the cross-legged hovering method. When Liu Shijun and Liu Chengyou performed boxing, they all followed this example. When Chen Zizheng just punched, he followed suit. After going to the meeting in Jason Wu, he improved this gait and changed it into a straight step, but he still didn't lose his intention. After improving the footwork, the hitting method remains unchanged, but the action speed is higher than in the past.
Changes of Eagle Hand Boxing Style
Chen Guoqing and Liu Zhixiang are representatives of Eagle Hand Boxing in South China. The characteristics are: softness with rigidity, both rigidity and softness, which combines the essence of Fan Ziquan. The north is represented by Yu Shukong and Guo Chengyao. The characteristics are: combining rigidity with softness, going forward bravely and paying attention to actual combat. Yue Sanshou Boxing is developed on the basis of inheritance. From this point of view, although the styles of the north and the south are different, they are all a furnace.
