1965 graduated from Xi 'an Institute of Military Telecommunication Engineering (xidian university) and stayed there as a teacher.

Visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania 198 1 to1983;

1986 was directly promoted from a lecturer to a professor in xidian university;

Visiting Professor, University of Pennsylvania 1989 to1990;

1990 was awarded the doctoral supervisor of "Signal and Information Processing" by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee; As a doctoral supervisor in the discipline of Signal and Information Processing in xidian university,

1992- 1996 served as vice president of xidian university and director of graduate department;

1994 was rated as a national young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions.

1996-2005 President of Shenzhen University;

1998-2005 Director of Gansu Blu-ray Technology Co., Ltd.;

He is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor and director of academic Committee of Shenzhen University.
