Gao Yuanjun (19 16- 1993) is the most famous Shandong Kuaishu performer in China, and the former vice chairman of Chinese Quyi Artists Association. Formerly known as Gao Jinshan, he was born in Ningling, Henan. 1On March 3rd, 993, Gao Yuanjun, a master of Shandong Kuaishu and vice chairman of the Chinese Quyi Artists Association, died in Beijing on March 3rd at the age of 77. Gao Yuanjun spent his childhood begging and singing in the street. On the basis of absorbing the essence of folk quyi, he deliberately sought innovation, which made this art move from folk to stage and became the founder of Shandong fast-writing "high school" art. He created and performed famous jokes praising folk heroes of past dynasties, such as Song Wu's fighting tigers, Song Wu's going to the market, and Lu Da's killing bullies, as well as a number of new jokes reflecting modern life, such as A Cart of Sorghum Rice, Scout and Battle of the Sky. His works, such as Experience of Shandong Kuaishu Performance, Brief Introduction to Shandong Kuaishu Art and Research on Allegro Kuaishu, have filled the blank of Shandong Kuaishu Theory.
