Lu You was born in the era of the demise of the Northern Song Dynasty, and was deeply influenced by family patriotism since childhood. Lu You's Twelve Years Poems, learning sword and art of war. His works include 85 volumes of Poems by Jian Nan, 50 volumes of Collected Works by Weinan, Notes of Laoxue Temple, and Book of Southern Tang Dynasty 10. His calligraphy is vigorous and unrestrained, and his ink is a "bitter cold post".
