Ma, male, aged 50, is the director and chief physician of the General Hospital of the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army (No.309 Hospital of the People's Liberation Army in China), an adjunct professor at University of Science and Technology Beijing, a doctoral tutor, a master tutor of the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army (Military Medical College) and the Academy of Military Medical Sciences. He won the second prize of China Medical Science and Technology Award, the second prize of Army Science and Technology Progress Award, and the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, respectively, 1, 8 third prizes of Army Science and Technology Progress Award, and 3 patents, including 2 gold prizes 1 and 2 silver prizes. Research project funds 1 10,000 yuan, published more than 70 papers, trained 9 master students, and jointly trained doctoral students 1 person. For three consecutive years, he won the Outstanding Contribution Award of PLA General Hospital, outstanding party workers after the General Logistics Department, outstanding party branch secretary of the General Hospital, Science and Technology College of 309 Hospital, and second-class post allowance for outstanding talents after the General Logistics Department.

Engaged in orthopedics for more than 20 years, he has rich clinical experience in spinal diseases, spinal tuberculosis, spinal trauma and unrestricted spinal fusion, especially in the diagnosis, treatment and scientific research of spinal tuberculosis, which is at the leading level at home and abroad. It is the first to put forward the principle of individualized comprehensive treatment of spinal tuberculosis, and more than 0/000 cases of spinal tuberculosis have been successfully treated surgically. Recently, a lot of clinical and scientific research work has been done in non-limiting spinal fusion (artificial disc replacement, Coflex, Wallis dynamic stabilization device between spinous processes, Bioflex dynamic stabilization system).

At present, there are 208 comprehensive orthopedic beds, including orthopedics (joint surgery, spine surgery, hand-foot surgery-micro-orthopedics), orthopedics (osteoporosis diagnosis and research base of China Gerontology Society), traditional Chinese medicine orthopedics and rehabilitation medicine. There are 22 senior professional titles in comprehensive orthopedics, including doctor 12 and master 13.

"Comprehensive Orthopedics" breaks the traditional single mode of surgical treatment for patients by surgeons, and introduces experts in orthopedics, orthopedics and rehabilitation medicine to make diagnosis and treatment for patients together with surgeons, instead of simple consultation in the traditional sense. All sub-specialists jointly manage ward patients and make rounds together, so that patients can not only get professional surgical treatment, but also get professional diagnosis and treatment in orthopedics, orthopedics and rehabilitation medicine. At present, the medical model of "comprehensive orthopedics" has attracted the attention of many domestic media.

In 2008, comprehensive orthopedics was rated as the first batch of research-oriented construction departments by the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, which realized the leap-forward development of orthopedics scale and brand.
