Army regimental cadres are equivalent to local (county) cadres. Under normal circumstances, officers who do not hold the post of military and political chief in the army will not be assigned positions when they are transferred to other places. Those who hold military and political positions in the army are generally transferred to the local area according to the deputy regimental level and related positions. However, the treatment is still regimental.

Generally speaking, when an army is transferred to other places, its rank will be lowered, which can be a leadership position or a non-leadership position. Details are as follows:

Transferred to a municipality directly under the central government or a sub-provincial city will be reduced by one level.

Transferred to prefecture-level cities, reduced by half a level.

Take regimental officers as an example, and transfer them to municipalities directly under the central government and sub-provincial cities for the main department level. Transferred to the following prefecture-level cities, for the deputy division level.

Note: Divisional officers are transferred to municipalities directly under the Central Government and sub-provincial divisional cities. Among them, the transfer to a sub-provincial city can also be a deputy bureau level.

Military cadres who have been in length of military service for less than 8 years or in length of military service for less than 3 years may not be discharged from active service in principle, but they really need to be demobilized. Military cadres who have been dissatisfied with 16 (excluding 16) for more than 3 years in length of military service or 8 years in length of military service shall, in principle, retire from active service and change jobs (planned placement). Need to be demobilized, I must write a written application, approved by the political organs of units above the corps level.

There is a need for resettlement, there must be valid certification materials issued by the receiving unit, and length of military service will be demobilized after 20 years (including 20 years) and less than 30 years.

Twenty-sixth organs, organizations and institutions that accept the placement of demobilized officers, non-commissioned officers and conscripts shall provide staffing security in accordance with relevant state regulations. State-owned enterprises that receive demobilized officers, noncommissioned officers and conscripts shall sign labor contracts with them in accordance with state regulations to ensure corresponding treatment. When the employing units specified in the preceding two paragraphs reduce personnel according to law, they shall give priority to retaining retired soldiers who receive resettlement and arrange work.
