Xuchang No.2 Middle School is a century-old famous school in a municipality directly under the Central Government. Founded in 19 17, formerly known as Provincial No.4 Middle School; 1949 was renamed Xuchang middle school; 1954 was officially named Xuchang No.2 Middle School with a history of 102.
In 2009, the whole school moved to No.9 Wen Hui Street, and Xuchang No.2 Middle School Education Group was established on 20 15, which was divided into two campuses: East Campus and West Campus. By 20 19, the school has a total area of about 60 mu, 56 classes and more than 3,300 students.
Xuchang No.2 Middle School has a rich cultural heritage. Over the years, the guiding ideology of "taking moral education as the core, teaching as the center, teacher development as the center of gravity, education and scientific research as the guide, management as the guarantee and quality as the basis" has been formed.
