Liushahe is an experienced poet. 1957, Star Poetry magazine was founded in Chengdu, and the first issue published his "A Grass and a Tree", which was well received by readers. During the anti-rightist period, Liushahe was convicted of "poisonous weeds" because he was "surrounded by grass and trees", and 1966 was forced to return to his hometown as a carpenter. Too many experiences have given the poet more thoughts and a unique personality of persistent pursuit of ideals.
