1since July, 1988, I have been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of fruit tree breeding, horticultural breeding and horticultural biotechnology in the Horticulture College of South China Agricultural University. /kloc-0 served as a lecturer in April 1992, and/kloc-0 served as an associate professor and director of the teaching and research section in February 1997. In 2003, he was promoted to be a professor and was selected as a doctoral supervisor. Since 2005, he has been the director of the biotechnology department of Horticulture College, and since 2007, he has been the deputy director of the Institute of Horticulture Biotechnology of South China Agricultural University. Over the years, he has presided over 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation, International Cooperation and Exchange Project 1, Guangdong Natural Science Foundation Project 1, Guangdong Agricultural Key Project 1, Guangdong Science and Technology Plan Project 2, Guangzhou Science and Technology Plan Project 1, and National Key Project 1. There are 4 projects funded by the President of South China Agricultural University (including international cooperation). From May 2005 to165438+10, four research projects of litchi AFLP (infrared AFLP analysis, SCAR research and development, SSR research and development, BAC library construction) were skillfully carried out. At present, he is mainly engaged in the breeding, transgenic and rapid propagation of fruit trees and water chestnut (vegetables) such as litchi, longan, Taiwan Province jujube, mango and citrus, the mechanism of scorching and seedless of litchi and citrus, and the molecular markers of litchi, longan, mango and Taiwan Province jujube, and has achieved good results, such as constructing the first high-density molecular genetic map of litchi and longan in the world. The molecular markers and corresponding auxiliary selection methods closely related to the mutation characters of litchi seedling, maturity and coke nucleus were obtained, and a new idea for the classification of litchi germplasm resources in China was put forward, which corrected some mistakes in the naming of litchi variety resources in China and better enriched the theory, methods and materials of litchi breeding. Participated in compiling 4 monographs and teaching materials in Chinese and English, and published more than 30 papers in Journal of Horticulture, the core publication of the International Horticultural Society, and journal of fruit science, the Horticultural Society of China.
