Fu Guangming's Road to Entrepreneurship of Shengnong Industry, the Chicken King of Jiangnan

Fu Guangming is from Zixi County, Jiangxi Province. He is currently the chairman of Fujian Shengnong Industrial Co., Ltd. and the chairman of Fujian Shengnong Development Co., Ltd.

1In April 1983, Fu Guangming, who left his "iron rice bowl", led two brothers and borrowed 20,000 yuan to open an individual chicken farm in Shilipu, Guangze County, Fujian Province. After more than 20 years of honest management and hard work, by 2008, Shengnong raised more than 50 million chickens.

Fu Guangming worked in the People's Armed Forces Department of Guangze County, Fujian Province. He was the first to go into the sea when everyone was competing for a civil servant. 1983 On the New Year's Eve, he bought 600 kinds of eggs from Hunan, which was the first time in his life to set foot in the chicken industry, but this purchase buried bitter fruit.

"Because it takes too long to lay eggs, only one chick is hatched from 600 eggs. Finally, the chicken grew up and found that it was still a rooster and could not even lay eggs. " Fu Guangming said.

Fu Guangming did not give up. In April this year, he took the train all the way to Shanghai and bought a kind of eggs called "Red Polo", a total of 600. This time, he learned his lesson. First, he bought some books on incubating and raising chickens, and learned while doing it. Finally, 300 chicks hatched. This has become its most primitive accumulation.

1983, when Fu Guangming applied to register a private enterprise, no one in the local area dared to register him for the simple reason that there was no precedent.

In fact, many people invested in private enterprises at that time, but in order to avoid suspicion and hide people's eyes and ears, they basically took the form of affiliated state-owned enterprises or collective enterprises. In Guangze, Fujian, even some people run enterprises much larger than those run by Fu Guangming, but no one dares to admit that they are private entrepreneurs.

Fu Guangming, on the other hand, thinks that if you know how to do business, why can't you admit that you are a private entrepreneur? When handling the business license, it shall declare the registered capital of 1.5 million yuan to Guangze County Administration for Industry and Commerce. At that time, the county industrial and commercial bureau handled so many registered capital licenses for the first time, claiming that it could not be done, and pushed it to the Nanping District Industrial and Commercial Bureau and then to the Fujian Provincial Industrial and Commercial Bureau. It didn't take long for the provincial industrial and commercial bureau to apply for a business license. The person in charge told him that this was the first approved private enterprise business license. Fu Guangming took a closer look: Yes, the number on the business license is 1.

1992, he came to Europe. In Denmark, he was pleasantly surprised to find the "good thing" he dreamed of and bought a frozen meat processing production line with the money borrowed from the bank. This production line became the most advanced production line introduced by the same industry at that time.

But it was this production line that once made the "King of Chicken in the South of the Yangtze River", which resounded through China, fall into an embattled situation.

When Fu Guangming imported equipment, he borrowed $350,000 from a certain department, and both parties agreed to repay it in eight years. However, four years later, the department changed the person in charge and suddenly demanded repayment. This move caught Fu Guangming off guard and caused a chain reaction from other borrowers.

"There were seven lawsuits, and the total repayment amount was 1 1 more than ten thousand yuan." Fu Guangming said that because other units that lent money to him were afraid of Fu Guangming's bankruptcy, they also sued for early repayment, and the court also decided to repay within a time limit. "In that year, it was still 6.5438+0 million yuan per month, which was almost the total profit of one month at that time. It took 654.38+0 years to pay it all off. "

When KFC opened its first branch in Fuzhou Dongjiekou Scenic Resort Scenic Area, it originally planned to visit the broiler supply base in Jiangxi. After hearing about the production line of Shengnong Company, it turned shiny. After testing a series of technical standards, Shengnong was "married" and signed a cooperation agreement of 10. Today, one of every four pieces of chicken sold in KFC's southern market belongs to Shengnong.

In the second half of last year, Shengnong has risen from a regional supplier of KFC to a national supplier.

Fu Guangming's actions are often unexpected. At the beginning of last year, bird flu swept across Southeast Asia and the north and south of China. Chicken enterprises talk about the color change of "birds", but Fu Guangming has taken an "adventurous move" to expand the production scale by 60% against the trend.

Fu Guangming, who is well versed in the industry trend, said that outsiders sweated in vain, and his own enterprise seized the opportunity, by going up one flight of stairs.

Fu Guangming said that there are more than 500 kinds of diseases in chickens, and each disease can kill. Bird flu has also discouraged some people from investing in the chicken industry. Saint farmers who have established international standards and health norms are not afraid of these.

Fu Guangming often drives his Mercedes-Benz 520 on mountain trails. On the hillside next to the highway, the international standard chicken house is located in it. This is Fu Guangming's chicken kingdom, and more than 20 hills nearby are his world. There are 60 chicken farms here, and 30 million chickens will be hatched, raised, slaughtered and supplied to the world every year.

"Three years ago, I seemed to be competing with domestic athletes; Three years later, I was integrated into the world stage, just like participating in the Olympic Games. " Fu Guangming commented on the impact of joining the WTO in early 2005.

In three years, Fu Guangming invested 300 million yuan in the large-scale chicken industry, becoming the most advanced enterprise in China broiler industry and reaching the most advanced level in the world. The number of broilers slaughtered has tripled every year, from 6.5438+million to 30 million.

"It used to be just raising chickens, but now every part of the chicken is a tool to make money." Fu Guangming's circular economy is getting better and better, and all wastes are used, including chicken offal, chicken manure and even chicken feathers. After refining, these wastes alone can bring tens of millions of yuan in output value a year.

Fu Guangming's footprints frequently appear abroad, especially in developed countries such as the United States. He once visited more than a dozen enterprises in the United States for eight days, which made the people accompanying him miserable. His dream is to do only one thing well in his life and run a good enterprise.

"I have been to more than 20 countries, but I have never traveled", which enables Fu Guangming to think about the development of enterprises from a global perspective.

Fu Guangming has always adhered to the concept of vigorously supporting education, actively participating in charity and achieving a win-win situation for society and enterprises. In recent years, various charitable donations of Shengnong Company have accumulated more than 30 million yuan. At the end of 2007, Fu Guangming took the lead in donating100000 yuan to Nanping Charity Federation, and was elected as the president of Nanping Charity Federation.

Fu Guangming is a member of the seventh, eighth and ninth CPPCC in Fujian Province. Won the honorary title of national model worker and the first national moral model nomination award. ;
