The nickname of the protagonist Li Jun.
The origin of Li Jun's nickname "Hunjianglong"

Li Jun is one of several heroes in Water Margin. How did he get his nickname "Hunjianglong"? There are two explanations for "Hunjianglong" in historical documents. One refers to the equipment for river regulation and river sand removal. According to Biography of the History of Song Dynasty, there was a man named Li Gongyi in Song Shenzong, who asked to harness rivers with iron claws. Eunuch Huang Huaixin made a Shuchuan loquat according to his design. But it was laughed at by everyone in the world and thought it was a joke. Only Wang Anshi believed it and let Du Shuicheng and Fan Ziyuan do it. Therefore, it was criticized by Wen Yanbo and caused controversy. Although this tool was not popular in the Song Dynasty, it was still circulated in later generations, and it was named "Gunjianglong" in the Yuan Dynasty. In the Yuan Dynasty's biography of Tai Fu Hua, it was recorded: "The Yellow River was decided, and the jade white horse was sacrificed to the river god. To sum up, we might as well follow the example of the Song Dynasty, shelve the history of the Qing Dynasty at the place where the river east of Huai 'an enters the sea, sweep the silt with a rolling dragon iron, and drift with the tide into the sea. The court followed its words. "The' rolling river dragon' here is the later' mixed river dragon'. In the Qing Dynasty, when Jin Fu ruled the river, he also used mixed river dragons to climb it. Later, it was abandoned because AG, the river chief, thought it was useless.
