Guo's resume
1. Basic information

Guo is a molecular cell biologist and immunologist. Researcher, doctoral supervisor. 1940 10 was born in Shanghai.

1964 graduated from the Department of Biophysical Chemistry of University of Science and Technology Shanghai (predecessor of Shanghai University) with a bachelor's degree; 1968 graduated from the Institute of Experimental Biology of China Academy of Sciences (predecessor of Shanghai Institute of Cell Biology of Chinese Academy of Sciences) with a master's degree in biochemical cytology.

Member of the Jiu San Society.

2. Work experience

1968 After graduation, he stayed in the Institute of Experimental Biology of China Academy of Sciences to do research on nucleic acid chemistry and enzymatic synthesis (artificial synthesis of yeast alanine tRNA), and served as one of the main leaders of this research. 1980, I went to work in the Ray Wu laboratory of Cornell University, mainly to improve and perfect the recombinant DNA technology, especially to establish the direct double-stranded sequencing of DNA on plasmid, which changed the popular single-stranded DNA sequencing method at that time and laid the foundation for the later research and development of DNA automatic sequencer and genome project. After 1983 returned to China, it carried out research on human insulin genetic engineering, human growth hormone (hGH) genetic engineering, penicillin acylase protein engineering and transgenic rabbits. 1986- 1987 conducted a cooperative study on "neurotransmitter transporter gene" at Baylor Medical College in the United States; 199 1 went to Hong Kong to help set up the Hong Kong Institute of Biotechnology (HKIB), and continued the cooperative research on "Neurotransmitter Transporter Gene"; 1993, research projects such as xenotransplantation, transgenic mice with human antibodies, recombinant chromosome and genome engineering, neurodrugs, screening of stem cells and amniotic cells, and tumor immunity have been carried out successively. 199 1-2000 Director, Shanghai Institute of Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After the adjustment of scientific research institutions in 2000, I worked in the Comprehensive Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Shanghai Institute of Life Sciences, China Academy of Sciences.
