The seven-year itch is an inescapable fate for many people. But for Ma Xiaohui, seven years is a spiral node. The biggest gain in the first seven years is to cultivate Ma Xiaohui's appreciation ability, aesthetic and cultural self-confidence.

From 65438 to 0996, Tim Owens, a German pianist, occasionally listened to Ma Xiaohui's performance, and proposed to have a dialogue with her erhu on the piano. So, they invited the composer to adapt two songs-Tingsong and Grape Ripe.

Ma Xiaohui and Tim Owens spent another nine days rehearsing day and night, without eating or sleeping. 1In the autumn of 996, they made their debut together and performed in Hanover, Germany with great success.
