Changhu Expressway project adopts the scheme of phased construction. Changhu Expressway-Line
main line
(1) Changhu Expressway starts from Changping Town, connects Shen Dong Highway through Da Lang, Songshan Lake Science and Technology Industrial Park, Dalingshan, Dalingshan Forest Farm, Chang 'an and other towns, and divides into two roads at Huahui Lantern Show, and the main line connects Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway through Wudianmei Reservoir; The branch line to Humen is newly connected with Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway and provincial highway S358 (Humen Ferry Highway), leading to Humen Port and ending at Guanghui Expressway (Changhu Expressway has not been connected with Guanghui Expressway).

Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway and Changhu Expressway meet at Humen Wudianmei Interchange, which is located between Humen Toll Station and Chang 'an Toll Station of Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway. Changhu Expressway-Xinlian Branch Line
A) After crossing the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway along the Yangtze River, it will be connected to the entrance avenue of Humen Port. The extended Xinlian branch line will connect Changhu Expressway with two Guangzhou-Shenzhen expressways: the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway which has been opened to traffic and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway along the Yangtze River which is under construction.

The Dongguan section of Shanghai-Hong Kong Expressway will pass through Xiegang, Zhangmutou and Changping towns, starting from Nancun, Xiegang Town, Dongguan, which borders Huizhou, passing through the south side of Huatai Industrial Park in Xiegang and Wanfu Cemetery in Zhangmutou Town to the west, crossing S357 line in Chishan Village, ending at changping town, the south side of Wenyu Industrial Park, and connecting with Changhu Expressway. The total length of the line is about 15 km, and the whole line adopts the standard of two-way six-lane expressway with a design speed of 65440 per hour. There will be an interchange between Xiegang and Zhangmutou, which is convenient for vehicles in and out of the two towns. In addition, a Boshen Expressway Interchange will be reserved. Huizhou Expressway, with a total length of 49.3 kilometers and six lanes in both directions, is expected to invest 3.3 billion yuan. Indirect Huiyan Expressway ends at Guanghui Expressway. Different from the existing situation, Chaoguan Expressway directly enters changping town, the eastern heart of Dongguan, where there is the largest railway station in Dongguan.
