Gao Xiang: female, born in July, 197 1, Han nationality, Ph.D., associate professor, tutor of master's degree (mineral and rock deposit science). 1992 Graduated from Chengdu Institute of Geology, majoring in rock and mineral; 1999 received a master's degree in mineral and rock deposit science from China Geo University, and a doctor's degree in mineral and rock deposit science from Peking University Geology Department in 2002. In 2003, he was promoted to associate professor. He is a member of the Mineral Professional Committee of China Mineral Rock Geochemistry Society. At present, he is engaged in the teaching and scientific research of mineralogy in the powder X-ray room of China Geo University (Beijing) Experimental Center. He is good at rock thin section identification under optical microscope, mineral phase and structure analysis by X-ray diffraction and crystal microstructure analysis under electron microscope.

Research direction: environmental minerals and genetic minerals, nonmetallic deposits, mineral crystal structure.

Teaching course: X-ray crystallography; On-the-job training of mineral X-ray analysis; Rock and mineral analysis technology.
