Thomas bach, 1953 1976, was born in Wü rzburg, Germany on February 29th, and is a former fencer in Germany. He is currently the president of the International Olympic Committee. Bach won the men's foil team championship at the Montreal Olympics. 1977 Men's Foil Team Gold Medal at the World Championships in Buenos Aires.
